If you’re Uptown and love clothes that treat Mother Earth right, try Branch Out on Magazine Street! As the first store of its kind in New Orleans, it features sustainable goods and vintage clothing. You can find vintage jewelry as well as hand-crafted pieces designed by local artists.
New clothing is manufactured with energy efficient, low-impact production and is made from recycled materials and/or from renewable resources. Some of the fabrics used to create their eco-friendly clothes are bamboo, modal, organic cotton, soy, and lyocell.
